found windows, hardware

2013

The Internet is a 9’ x 9’ x 9’ faceted structure made up of salvaged windows attached together to articulate
a dome. This dome symbolizes heavenly architecture as a way to escape the real world, and the overlapping
windows reference the many tabs to different topics we have on our computer while surfing the
internet. The jumbled windows are a metaphor for portals to different worlds as well as a commentary on
our multi-tasking, heavily distracted culture.
